QMI 220 Waterproof Grease with PTFE

QMI 220 WATERPROOF GREASE is a high-quality lubricating grease made from specially highly refined lubricating oils with PTFE. This highly refined lubricating oil reduces the lubricant’s ability to absorb contaminants found in cellulose/paper and metal production. The oil’s viscosity was selected to provide optimal protection under high loads at low to moderately high speeds.
The thickener used in QMI 220 WATERPROOF GREASE is a specially developed blend of chemicals selected to provide a very high level of resistance to water washout and degradation from wet foam. A specially developed production technique is used to make QMI 220 WATERPROOF GREASE so it provides increased resistance to breakdown and separation due to high loads and contaminants. QMI 220 WATERPROOF GREASE is a blend of surface-active lubricants and polymers developed for significant reduction of friction and wear, and will create a strong barrier against water penetration and water-soluble contaminants. It is these typical contaminants that cause loss of the lubricant’s thickening ability, which in turn leads to higher temperatures, greater wear, and ultimately premature failure. When using QMI 220 WATERPROOF GREASE, the lubrication frequency can often be reduced to 1/5 of regular good grease.
