Description

Designed for use with ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and ester types.

Competing products may contain sodium or potassium silicate to stop leaks. Aqueous solutions of sodium and potassium silicate harden at 45 to 60 degrees Celsius. They create an effective seal, but the problem is that they can harden in the coolant, so if not flushed immediately after the leak is stopped, it can cause blockages where not desired.
