Description
QMI DPF Cleaner contains water-soluble surfactants that are highly effective on diesel soot. They lift the soot from the surface so it can be rinsed out.
Mix QMI DPF Cleaner with water as hot as possible (over 60°C, preferably 80°C) to make approx. 1 liter of ready-mixed solution. Seal one end of the filter. First, fill it 2/3 full and shake the filter well for 30 seconds, then fill it completely with the QMI DPF Cleaner. Let the filter sit for approx. 30 minutes so all the soot loosens. After 15 min, drain about 20% of the liquid and shake the filter well for 1 minute. Top up the filter with hot water and let it sit for another 15 min. Then drain 20% of the liquid and shake the filter well for 1 min. Once done, place the filter under a tap or use a hose with good pressure and hot water. The filter should be rinsed until the water runs clear. Dry the filter with compressed air, or let it stand for a while so all the water drains out.
