Motorhistorisk Klubb Drammen has a Ford E350 ambulance from 1995 in its collection. The car has only occasionally been driven after it was taken out of service in 2004. While preparing for participation in the Skien Fire Brigade’s 150th anniversary, a large oil leak suddenly occurred from the gearbox. The leak was so large that it was not justifiable to go on a trip by car. What do you do in such a situation? The time was too short to disassemble and we chose to try QMI’s leak sealant. Both were skeptical, and it flowed just as wonderfully after the substance was filled in the gearbox. But the next day, when the active ingredients had been allowed to work overnight, the leak was gone. Simply impressive.
